That means it has cosmetic defects that make it unsuitable for regular sale, but does not affect its use at all. This one in particular is almost firsts quality, except for some top-stitching around the opening. (Not pictured.)

OVERVIEW

A sleeve for protecting your beloved books from the ravages of your tote bag, preventing creases and bent corners and stray pen marks. The padding keeps your book cozy and safe, and the leather closure keeps it tucked in.

• Approximately 7.5" x 9.5", fits a standard-size paperback, up to about 400 pages
  
• Hidden foam layer for protection
• Strap is leather with brass hardware
