About

I love little luxuries—a pretty bouquet on my desk, a unique blend of tea from a specialty shop, and Merchant & Mills thread snips. I carry that love into my products. I try to make things that serve a practical purpose but bring joy while they do it. We all need to pack our toiletries in something—it could be an ugly ziplock bag, or it could be a gorgeous floral linen zipper pouch.

I use only high quality fabrics, and I choose patterns that are either extra beautiful or extra fun. They’re all finished with pretty brass zippers that always open smoothly.

My mom taught me to sew when I was small. I wore a skirt I made to my grandparents’ 50th anniversary party, and I felt so cool. I didn’t sew too much for the next few years, but in my early twenties I finished my first quilt and haven’t looked back. I spend my free time sewing clothes, bags, quilts, table linens. Anything but curtains! I believe there’s nothing more special than a handmade gift, and it’s my joy to make things for my friends and family—and yours too.

My favorite part of sewing is the fabric. I love playing with colors and patterns, combining them to make a unique and happy piece. I sew out of my home in Alexandria, VA, where I live with my husband and our two sweet (and noisy) boys.
